PING AN FUTURES BROKERAGE CO., LTD. (Ping An Futures or the Company) is a nationwide professional brokerage company with the license of futures brokerage issued by China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and registered with the State Administration for Industrial and Commerce. Recently Ping An Futures has successfully obtained a Financial Futures Brokerage License.
Ping An Futures was established in 1996 with a registered capital of RMB 0.12 billion and headquartered in Shenzhen with a representative office in Shanghai.
As the control company of Ping An Futures, Ping An Securities Company Ltd. (Ping An Securities) was formally established on Oct. 1995 with the registered place in Beijing and the headquarters in Shenzhen. It has capital of RMB 1.8 billion. Now Ping An Securities has developed from a regional securities house into an integrated securities company nationwide. On Apr. 11, 2006, Ping An Securities was approved by the Securities Association of China to engage in “innovative” businesses, becoming one of the twenty “innovative” securities firms in China.
As the parent company of Ping An Securities, Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. (Ping An Group) is the first Chinese integrated financial services group, with activities spanning across insurance, banking, trust, securities, annuities, and asset management. As of June 2007,its market capitalization had topped HKD 490 billion(USD 64.5 billion).
Ping An Futures are members of the following domestic exchanges in China: Shanghai Futures Exchange, Dalian Commodity Exchange and Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange. At the moment Ping An Futures is applying for the trading clearing member of the China Financial Futures Exchange. Ping An Futures consists of Personnel Department, Financial Department, Trading Department, Clearing Department, Risk Management Department, Compliance Inspection Department, Institutional Department, IB Business Department, Business Department, Research Institute and Computer Department.
As one of Ping An Group’s professional companies, Ping An Futures located financial futures’ business as company’s development direction when the Company was found. Therefore, the Company spent much time on doing fully preparation on human resources, IT, research products. Now Ping An Futures’ operation covers financial futures’ business and commodity futures’ brokerages, as well as asset hedge service, futures investment consultation, futures training.
PING AN FUTURES RESEARCH INSTITUTE has set up strategy Research Department, training center and network business Department, where analysts mostly have rich experience in investment and research of securities and futures. The Institute, with its research products covering futures, commodity futures, options, stocks, warrants, funds and foreign exchange, has formed certain influence in the industry. According to special demand of institute investors, Ping An Futures can provide investment products with given restrict condition. Also, Ping An Futures can cooperate with fund company and QFII to design the strategy of asset allocation and derivative products together.

Ping An Futures have invested over RMB 13 million to establish a safe and advanced Trading and Clearing System with a high-speed trading channel with China Telecom, China Netcom and Sungard Kingstar and launched effective bank-futures account transfer services together with China Construction Bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Bank of Communications. The Company also has excellent financial information and analysis systems including Pobo and Webstock.
With strong support from its parent company Ping An Group and its control company Ping An Securities, including branding, IT , management, risk control ,human resource, client sources, sales and financing, Ping An Futures is well positioned to strengthen its core competencies.
